The Modern Heirloom

The bathroom is anchored by a rich, vintage-inspired vanity, chosen for its warmth and grounding presence. To bring in a modern sensibility, we layered in cool polished nickel wall-mounted faucets alongside the soft, developing patina of unlacquered brass hardware. Throughout the space, we focused on tactile details—from the classic herringbone tile floor and the organic depth of the marble vanity wall to the architectural wood slat detail that frames the vanity. By blending these contrasting textures with a serene, undermount tub and ambient pendant lighting, we crafted a space that is as functional as it is inviting
